The Client
Rise & Lead Women is a non-profit organisation that aims to create a future where equality and diversity rule the world by offering resources & support and fostering connections to inspire women to lead fearlessly.
The Goal
Create and execute a robust communication and sales strategy to support the organisation’s offline and online efforts in achieving its vision and promoting its annual summit in line with its organisational strategies.
My Workflow
- Ideation – Work with the Founder and Leadership team to generate ideas for the organisation’s various communication channels including social media campaigns, blog posts, email campaigns, and podcasts.
- Asset gathering – Compile the necessary resources to be used in the creation and crafting of the necessary communication materials. Also, conduct guest speaker research to ensure that we maintain a steady stream of speakers who will work with the organisation for speaking and mentoring purposes.
- Copywriting – Create the text-based parts of the different content types and campaigns.
- Proofreading – Ensure that the texts are error-free.
- Approval – Get the approval of the Founder and necessary members of the Leadership team. Send report on guest speakers’ research and partnership status for feedback and approval.
- Revising – Review the content based on the team’s feedback.
- Scheduling – Add approved content to the appropriate content publishing software.
- Create graphics – Design the necessary graphics and edit necessary content to be published alongside the earlier created text-based content.
- Publish content – Broadcast the different content types on the appropriate channels on the scheduled date.
- Engagement – Interact with the organisation’s audience and send inquiries that come in through the social media channels to the appropriate team member for resolution. Also, engage with guest speakers and mentors for a briefing to aid their understanding of their partnership with the organisation.
- Analysis – Review the different communication channels’ analytics, interpret the data, assess the profiles’ performances, and use the data to inform the next batch of content & strategy.

- Kajabi – Creating, marketing and selling the organisation’s digital content and courses.
- Canva – Designing digital graphics on the go.
- Grammarly.com – Proofreading content to eliminate undetected grammar errors.
- Sender.Net – Email marketing service provider.
- Google Docs – Creating and collaborating on text-based content.
- Asana – Project management and communicating with the team.
- Google Analytics & Tag Manager – Tracking & Gathering data on user behaviour on the website.
- Meta Pixel – Tracking and Facebook ADs management.
