The Client
As my own client, I had to focus on streamlining my ideas to a particular set of interests that could be impactful for my audience.
The Goal
Create a newsletter that communicates my thoughts on creativity, work and objective ideas on navigating the complexities of our world.
My Workflow
- Ideation – Generate ideas for the weekly newsletter publication.
- Asset gathering – Compile the necessary resources to be included. Also, contact experts in the field where necessary.
- Copywriting – Create the text-based parts of the newsletter.
- Proofreading – Ensure that the texts are error-free.
- Revising – Review the content for final proofreading.
- Scheduling – Add the content to the newsletter publishing software.
- Create graphics – Design the necessary graphics and edit necessary video content to be published alongside the earlier created text-based content.
- Publish content – Publish the newsletter on the scheduled date.
- Engagement – Interact with the audience members who sent responses to the newsletter.
- Analysis – Review the newsletter analytics monthly, interpret the data, assess the newsletter performances, and use the data to inform the next batch of content & strategy.
Tools Used
- Notion – Storing and organising content ideas.
- Canva – Designing digital graphics on the go.
- Grammarly.com – Proofreading content to eliminate undetected grammar errors.
- Sender – Email marketing service provider.
- Substack – Creating archives of newsletters for readers to refer to whenever they need to.
- Google Docs – Creating and collaborating on text-based content when necessary.
Result
We are in the early days of this personal project. I will provide an update in the future.
