It’s officially the last month to round up the first half of 2018. How did the first half of the year go by so fast?! It feels like with every blink of my eyes, an entire month passes. It sounds funny to hear myself say this.
I instinctively feel the urge to hurry and reach all the goals that I’ve set for myself this year but my promise to myself to take things slow this year is restraining me from such a rush. Not because those goals are not things that can be rushed, but I’m a firm believer in the saying that ‘If something is worth doing, it should be done well’. Also, I’m trying to enjoy every little moment and celebrate successes instead of getting caught in the cycle of getting things done and forgetting to enjoy the successes already had.
Although that’s not an excuse for my inconsistency with my post these past couple of months, my 9-5 has kept me really busy but all of that will be changing soon. I’ve got a lot of amazing topics to talk about and news that I can’t wait to share.
So, as we enter into the new month of June, I hope you remember to enjoy every little win and celebrate your successes, no matter how little, while you reach to crush those goals you’ve set for yourself.
